The teacher, David B. Alexander, has studied steadily with Grandmaster Chen since 1983 (and before that with Herman Kauz), especially in the last 15 years. That includes assistant teaching for those last 15 years, and accompanying GM Chen by invitation for many workshops to assist and at times to run classes alongside the workshops. These workshops took place multiple times in Massachussets, upstate New York, and near Washington D.C. In addition, David has taught independently for over 30 years.
